Proudly Present Our
2024 Elected Divan

Brian K. Deming and Lady Erin

Potentate Bryan Deming became a Mason in October 2004, came to the Shrine in March 2005, and entered the Scottish Rite in April 2005. He is one of the founding members of the Tangier Pirates, holding multiple offices within the club. Bryan was Master of Springfield Lodge #112 in 2012 and Director of the Tangier Clowns in 2013. He is also a member of the Boone and Crockett Club, Hillbillies, Ritual Divan, Legion of Honor and Provost. Bryan was also an integral part of starting the Tangier Straight Shooters. He served as one of the many Chief Aides or Potentate’s Aides of Tangier for several years before being elected, and serving as a trustee from 2016 through 2019. Joining a Fraternity that boasted “Making good men better men” and another that advertised “Fun with Purpose” were starting points for Bryan’s membership. It is the extended Family and Mentorship that has given him the drive of being a person of Service. Being a small part of Shriners International and Shriners Childrens continues to be fulfilling, and his commitment to Family, Church and Community is much the same. Bryan is also a member of the Royal Order of Scotland (2019) York Rite (2023) and received a Pastoral License (2023)

Oriental Guide Duane Jackson Sr found his love and passion for Masonry in May 1997 where he became a member of Rough Ashler Lodge #1 of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Nebraska. Through Duane's dedication to knowledge, he became the Junior Warden of the Lodge in June of 1997. With his passion for kids Duane became the CHiPs director for Prince Hall while serving as the Grand Treasurer of the PHA Grand Lodge of Nebraska. Duane also became a member of the Hillbillies where he found cousins, he never knew he had. Duane decided to show his interest in becoming a member of the Divan and was met with a lot of encouragement from the nobility as a whole.
