ARBOR SHRINE CLUB

Mission: Transporting children and families to and from the Shriners Hospitals and Health Facilities for Children as needed. While doing all this, our main job is to have fun and lots of fellowship while we work towards this goal. Please contact an officer or member if interested in joining. You are the future … we just pave the road. Founded in the 1980s on the principles of advancing the welfare and creating a close bond of fellowship and sociability among the nobility! Commonly referred to as the Arbor Shrine Club. 

Meets Monthly: Last Tuesday of the Month at 6:30 p.m. (Social at 6 p.m.) at various places in Cass/Otoe County and Nebraska City

Dues: $20 per year, due the first of each year.

What Shriners Do:
  • Have fun!
  • Annually supports a Shriner Bowl player and a band participant
  • Actively engaged in supporting the Tangier Shrine Center and Divan
  • Active participant in parades: AppleJack Feztival (Nebraska City), Limestone Days (Weeping Water), Plattsmouth Harvest Festival, Otoe County Fair–GermanFest (Syracuse), Ralston Independence Day Parade, Sidney (Iowa) Rodeo Parade, Nebraska Shrine Bowl (Kearney), and many more! (With an Oasis after every parade!)
  • Sell Shrine Bowl Calendars
  • Onion Sales by numerous members
  • Contributes to the Annual Fall Shrine Bowl Football Fundraiser
  • Supports the Otoe and Cass Food Banks annually

  • Arbor Shrine Night at the Ball Game (Omaha Storm Chasers) – invite all Little League and Legion ballplayers
  • Movie Night with a Shriner (Nebraska City Movie Theater)
