Shriners: It's All About Fun and Fellowship
When you become a Shriner, you become part of a brotherhood of men committed to family, engaged in ongoing personal growth, and dedicated to providing care for children in need. While our backgrounds and interests may be diverse, what binds us together are shared values and a desire to do good and build bonds that can last a lifetime.
Tangier Shrine in Omaha, NE has always been made up of the finest men from our community – men whom you are glad to know and work with. Shriners are distinguished by an enjoyment of life and a commitment to philanthropy. They volunteer, educate, support and go above and beyond.
Shriners' approach to fun and fellowship has evolved as new members bring in fresh perspectives and creative ideas. The possibilities for having fun as a Shriner are endless.
The Tangier Shrine has 40 activity-based clubs, units and events that provide diverse ways for members to connect. If a club for a particular activity doesn’t exist, members are empowered to create one. We can provide coaching, financial support and resources to help members develop their ideas and build their own experiences. You can be involved in as much or as little as you choose. The best part is, as a Shriner, you can connect with other members who share similar interests and hobbies.
