Prospect to Candidate and Candidate to Master Mason
Before you can become a member of Shriners International, you must first become a Master Mason in a Masonic Lodge under a Masonic Grand Lodge that belongs to the Conference of Grand Masters in North America (COGMINA) or to a Grand Lodge recognized by COGNIMA.
This may sound like a complicated process, but we can assure you that it isn't. We've created a streamlined process and a dedicated website for prospects looking to start their journey in Freemasonry.
Master Mason to Shriners International
If you have become a Master Mason in Freemasonry, you qualify and are invited to become a Shriner. The first step is to fill out a membership inquiry. Once you begin the application process, you will be paired with a virtual mentor who can answer all of your questions, guide you through the petition process and help you get to know members of your local chapter.
