Tangier Shrine
Our fraternity is open to men of integrity from all walks of life.
Formally chartered on June 23, 1890, the mission of Tangier Shrine is to care for the children of our community who can benefit from the unique and specialized care offered through the Shriners Children's Healthcare Network.
Tangier's Nobles and Ladies support the Omaha community and surrounding areas by transporting patients and their families to Shriner Children's hospitals, making blankets and donating gifts for our patients, coordinating patients' care, and providing any other help that our patients may need.
Tangier Shrine has more than 35 Units and Clubs to participate in to fit each person's interests. Each Unit or Club has a specific role; some are just for fun! The Nobles and their ladies are in local parades, staff the rodeo, serve at the annual Tangier Spaghetti Feed, host Veterans events, enjoy the annual Mardi Gras party, support the Nebraska Shrine Bowl game, organize Tangier's Feztival of Trees, and are involved in many more events.
