Can I bring in a diaper bag? Yes, you may bring in a diaper bag. The Mid-America Center does not have a clear bag policy; however, all bags (including purses) are subject to search.
Can I bring a stroller? Yes, you may! It can be very helpful to have a stroller when visiting the Circus Fun Fair in particular. However, strollers must be left outside the seating bowl of the Mid-America Center, so please let your section's usher know you have a stroller. Remove all valuables from the stroller, and please mark it with your name and cell phone number!
When does the Circus Fun Fair open? The Circus Fun Fair opens two hours before the listed circus performance time. It also open for one hour following the circus performance. Keep in mind that some activities (like the animal rides) may take a bit to get going after a circus performance (and between performances) since these are run by our circus performers.
When do doors to the arena open? Doors to the arena for seating open one hour before the listed circus performance time.
How much are activities in the Fun Fair? Activities start at 1 token. Each activity is marked. Bounce houses are 1-2 tokens each. Animal rides are 5-10 tokens each. Face painting is 5 tokens (cheek only) and 8 tokens (full face).
How can I pay for Fun Fair activities? All Fun Fair activities require tokens. Tokens are $1 each and can be purchased at one of the Token Booths. Tokens can be paid for with cash, debit and credit card. There are no refunds on unused tokens.
Are there any free activities in the Fun Fair? Yes! You can enjoy the Horn T Animal Jungle trailer at no charge. The 53-foot trailer includes about a dozen exotic animals that can be viewed.
How much are circus programs? Circus programs are $3 each and are available from individual sellers outside the Mid-America Center (weather permitting), inside the main lobby and Fun Fair, and at all novelty stands.
How can I get the clowns and Keystone Kops to autograph my program? Clowns and Keystone Kops can be found throughout the Mid-America Center during the circus. Before each circus performance, you will find them in the Fun Fair area and roaming the arena floor. After the circus, some of them can be found at the bottom of the main escalator/stairs.
How can I become a part of the circus? If you are interested in becoming a circus act performer (not a clown or Keystone Kop), contact the James Cristy Cole circus. If you are interested in joining the Tangier Shrine Center, click here.
